“3 idiots,” an Indian coming of age film starred Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan as the main protagonist ‘Rancho’ Shamaldas Chanchad.
The story revolved around the search for him by his two college buddies, Raju Rastogi (Sharman Joshi) and Farhan Qureshi (R. Madhavan). During their search were flashbacks of their college life, showing how much they learned from Rancho not only about school but also about making practical and right choices.
Rancho is known as a smart student, not textbook smart, but smart with out-of-this-world ideas that work.
Now, we might be seeing Rancho once again because according to a post on The Malay Online, Khan (along with director Rajkumar Hirani) confirmed that a sequel to “3 Idiots” is in the works.
On the post, Khan said, “Raju Hirani has given me a hint about 3 Idiots sequel and I am giving you all a hint. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.”
