After visiting Mt. Cabuyao, they also took us to Baguio City‘s water reservoir….
Â
Ever wondered where the flowers from the annual Panagbenga Flower Festival come from? It can be found in Bahong, La Trinidad, the Rose Capital of the Philippines!
Â
Too bad most of the flowers were already harvested in preparation for the festival but good thing we were still able to see some budding flowers that day!
Â
We highly recommend you visit this place next time you go to Baguio!
Â
Bell Church –Â I’ve been wanting to visit this place for the longest time and I’m so glad I finally did!
Â
We also made a quick stop to the Vegetable Trading Post in La Trinidad. If you wish to buy the freshest Baguio produce, then this is the best place as prices here are in whole sale!
Â
As for affordable pasalubong shopping, Sir Vince and Aldreen said it’s best to go to Maharlika located near the market in the city proper.
Â
Of course, a trip to the local market is another must!
Â
It was truly fun to meet and bond with our new friends and we are so grateful that they gave their precious time to be with us!
Evening came and it was time again to enjoy another gastronomical experience at Tradisyon. This time, we enjoyed classic heartwarming Filipino dishes……
I bet you wouldn’t believe this, but despite the 10 degree temperature, we still opted to have Halo-halo for dessert! Winner!
Â
Our overall experience at Tradisyon was very satisfying of course however, there were 2 signature items which were amazingly great, that we think will be certified hits!
Â
Ube Dumplings
– Crunchy deep fried wontons filled with creamy ube jam on a bed of chunky mango puree then drizzled with strawberry sauce. If Baguio were to be a dessert, this will be it! Whoever thought about this is truly a genius!
Â
Azalea Carrot Cake (P6o for 3 pieces)
– I’ll make this short and simple… of all the carrot cakes I’ve had in my life, this by far is THE BEST! Perfectly moist cupcakes filled with light whipped cream topped with fresh strawberries! Unbelievably super affordable! The taste was “pure heaven!” I ordered boxes of these before going home and they are the only ones I bought as my pasalubong! For me, this is the new ultimate pasalubong when in Baguio!
Â
Just like any other epic trip, the hardest part would always be during check-out time…. but we’re happy nonetheless, knowing we have a lot to look forward to again in our future Baguio trips, the fact that we found another set of cool friends and a place we can call home is pretty awesome!
So what makes a great Baguio vacation hotel? Personally for us, they must have ff:
1. Accessible to key places
2. The place must be safe
3. Clean, decent spacious rooms with a reliable water heating system
4. Affordable rates
5. Located in a peaceful quiet place to appreciate nature
6. Good food
7. A warm hospitable staff who will tend to your every need and make you feel at home
Â
…….. guess what? Azalea Residences have all these!
Â
So next time you visit Baguio City, don’t forget to consider booking at Azalea Residences to experience world class service and their signature delights!
