Does your body like the music you thought you hated?
What makes you dance?
Why does a minor chord sound so sad?
Why do we sing the blues?
What happens to our bodies when we listen to music?
Do you ever wonder how music affects you as an individual? Have you ever experienced singing something you didn’t know you memorized (hint: Air Supply)? What type of music do you listen to and why? These are just some of the questions that came across our minds when we visited the Biorhythm Exhibit at The Mind Museum.

Some of the installations were:
Â
Â
Hear Hear 1 and 2 – Where you would see how stressful it is to be an inner ear. Your ear is a  Rude Goldberg-esque machine that translate vibrations in the air to electrical impulses.
Â
Â
Contacts – conduct electricity with your skin and make music!
Â
Â
Â
The Theremin Inspectors – wherein you can manipulate the instrument’s
electromagnetic field (which Ivy did)
Â
Â
Â
Â
Heart N’ Beat – Lego + magnetic stripes + your heart = music
Â
Â
Reactable – where we played around with beats using a touch-sensitive surface
Â
Â
Sassja (and her ate Czar) actually wanted to have one at home. Haha!Â
