UP Circuit Launches 25th SquEEEze: A Gathering of The Nation’s Premiere EEE Students and Professionals

This November 2022, UP Circuit launches its 25th iteration of SquEEEze: The National EEE Competition and Convention, where the country’s students, aspiring and accomplished professionals alike in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) come together and share their knowledge and expertise in the fields of engineering and technology.

Established in 1998, SquEEEze is a series of competitions and seminars arranged yearly by UP Circuit, an academic organization based in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute of the University of the Philippines Diliman.

SquEEEze will hold three events this year: the High School Quiz Show, the College Quiz Show, and the Technological Design Contest. All events will be held virtually through Zoom and Facebook Live.

 

Test your limits and rise to the top! The High School Quiz Show and College Quiz Show gather high school and college students in EEE nationwide and put them to the test in a quiz bee format to determine who will emerge as the brightest of all. The High School Quiz Show is open to all enrolled junior and senior high school students, while the College Quiz Show is open to enrolled college students taking any of the following programs under EEE: BS Electrical Engineering, BS Electronics Engineering, and BS Computer Engineering. The elimination round will commence on November 26-27, while the finals round will commence on December 3-4.

Build towards a better world! The Technological Design Contest provides an opportunity for high school students across the country to solve real-world problems aligned with the current theme of SquEEEze using their equipped knowledge in the field of electronics. This event will commence on January 14. 

 

Broaden your knowledge! Realize the potential of engineering today as EEE professionals from all over the country share their knowledge in the corporate world, coming from first-hand experience. These career talks will be held on various days throughout the entire duration of the event.
