These Residence Club Rooms are spacious and chic. It includes complete amenities, a cozy king-sized bed, hot and cold showers, and a bathtub that can be accessed right from the bedroom through a sliding door. So, if you’re looking for a romantic staycation, then this is definitely a great option.

New World Makati also offers a variety of staycation packages that include treats you can enjoy in your room.

For couples, you can enjoy a bottle of wine and cheese board for two, plus a 1-hour massage for two. Families can find four cute cake popsicles in their room along with fun DIY activities perfect for kids.

If you just wanted to hang out with your barkada, you can enjoy a “movie night staycation” with two bags of popcorn, a duo of sliders, and soda.

Lavish amenities

While we would’ve loved to stay all day in the room and enjoy the super comfy bed, there was just so much to enjoy at New World Makati.

We tried the East-West Harmony massage (a combination of shiatsu and Swedish massage) at the Marahai Spa and it was probably one of the most relaxing massage experiences I’ve ever had in the city. The spa even has a steam room and a sauna to complete the relaxing experience!

Their Fitness Center also has complete equipment and they’re definitely one of the more spacious gyms I’ve seen in hotels.

The elegant pool at New World Makati is also a relaxing oasis you can enjoy right in the heart of the city. It’s pretty spacious enough for both casual dips and for swimming laps, especially since it can go as deep as 6 feet.

If you want to enjoy the finer things in life, then you’ll love The Living Room which is one of the hotel’s (many) lounges. Here, you can enjoy afternoon and evening refreshments. They serve cocktails, coffee, delicious bites, and pastries. You can enjoy all this while taking in the gorgeous panoramic view of Metro Manila.

Gastronomic food choices

Just when we thought that the elegant and stylish hotel couldn’t get any better, New World Makati is also home to a few must-try restaurants in Makati.

Cafe 1228, which is located on the ground floor of the hotel, offers an extensive buffet with a variety of delectable options. This buffet was only open during the weekends, but now it’s available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from Mondays to Thursdays.

Cafe 1228’s signature buffet stations include the mouthwatering carving station with fresh-off-the-grill US Beef Striploin and flavorfully tender barbeque ribs. Another highlight is their fresh seafood station which includes massive prawns, mussels, and fish. These are all cooked on the grill right in front of you, so you can be sure to enjoy their freshness.

The buffet also includes other all-time favorite stations featuring Japanese dishes, Pinoy food, salads, cheese and cold cuts, and a wide array of desserts. Take advantage of their crepe station, too!

Another must-try restaurant at New World Makati is Jasmine, a Chinese restaurant known for its perfectly-cooked Peking duck and unlimited dim sum promos. Their unli dim sum is definitely a must-try.
