LOOK: You Can Watch Classic Filipino Movies For FREE This Month

If you’re looking for something to do this month, you might want to spend your time in the cinemas—not to watch the latest Hollywood release, but to enjoy classic Filipino movies on the big screen.

This month of May, the Film Development Council of the Philippines’ Philippine Film Archive is bringing FREE screenings of Filipino classics to celebrate National Heritage Month.

These films include: Manila by Night by Dir. Ishmael Bernal, Genghis Khan by Dir. Manuel Conde, Ganito Kami Noon, Paano Kayo Ngayon by Dir. Eddie Romero, Insiang by Dir. Lino Brocka, Noli Me Tangere by Dir. Gerardo De Leon, and many more.

There will be free screenings in select cinemas such as SM North EDSA, The Metropolitan Theater, and Cinematheque Centres all over the country.
