The 27-year-old beauty queen, Sandra Lemonon, delighted fans and friends over the weekend when she revealed that she is officially engaged to be married to veteran player for the Philippine Basketball Association, Sol Mercado!
She shared the amazing news on Instagram with a photo of her hand extended towards the camera, flaunting the huge blue ring that is now on her finger. “[Infinity] with you,” she wrote on the caption, including the time and date of their engagement (March 11, 5 PM).
Sol likewise shared the same photo with the following message: “Everything that is YOU @sandralemonon, is all I ever needed! [Two hearts, one] soul.”

This news comes after Sandra had confirmed her relationship with the PBA star last September 29, 2021. In her post, she called him her “biggest blessing” and that “the love that we share for one another is pure.”
“I am so grateful to share & build life together & I can confidently say that you are the one for me,” she also said. “Life is definitely better with you. I love you so much my love.”
Meanwhile, Sol expressed his gratitude to her for being someone who would help him grow and looked forward to the future of being constantly by her side. “Never have I had anyone get me and understand me the way you do, we constantly on the same vibration and I appreciate and love you more than can be explained through this post. Looking forward to continuing this journey together, life is so much better with you by my side!” he shared.
Sandra formerly represented Taguig City in the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 pageant. Prior to that, she joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2018 and Miss World Philippines in 2016.
Sol was previously engaged to actress Denise Laurel until they parted ways in October 2016.
