Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is having her first child with her husband, art gallery director Cooke Maroney!
The official news first came out in an exclusive story from PEOPLE Magazine. Lawrence’s representatives confirmed the great news to the magazine on Wednesday, September 8.

Lawrence, who was first known for her role as Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games trilogy, married Cooke Maroney in late 2019, a year since they started dating in June of 2018.
Maroney works in the New York art scene. Lawrence and Maroney met through one of the actress’ closest friends.
Lawrence has always been vocal about her excitement to build a family with Maroney. In an episode of the Naked with Catt Sadler podcast, she said, “He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.”
