It seems so long ago when the whole Gerald Anderson-Bea Alonzo hullabaloo happened. Their controversial breakup happened back in 2019 when Bea announced that Gerald had ghosted her. Julia Barretto was also involved in the issue with rumors spreading that she was the reason behind the breakup. Whatever really happened, though, the topic of Gerald and Bea’s breakup was brought up on the online show Init Conversations with Boy Abunda, where Gerald was asked whether he wants to fix his problems in his previous relationship.
Gerald answered, “Sana, kung pwede kong baguhin yung nangyari. Kaso ang hirap. It’s done. I’ve made mistakes. We both made mistakes.” [Rough translation: Maybe if I could change what happened, but it’s hard.] Boy Abunda also asked if there would be a chance for Gerald to reach out to Bea, to which he responded, “I really pray… I really hope she will find it in her heart to forgive what happened, forgive me. Naghu-hope lang ako.” [Rough translation: I am just hoping.]
