R&B singer-songwriter Kyla Alvarez, famously known as Kyla, opened up in an Instagram post on Friday, July 16, that she has suffered another miscarriage.
“My heart is broken in levels deeper than you may ever have imagined,” she wrote on her post as she shared a black and white photo of herself showing off her baby bump while her son, Toby, smiled widely beside her.
“Our little angel, please watch over me, your Daddy, and Kuya Toby. Send our hugs and kisses to your 2 siblings in heaven. We love you, our Millie,” Kyla added.
Many of her friends and followers jumped into the comments section to express their condolences and messages of support for Kyla during this difficult time.
Kyla and her husband Rich Alvarez welcomed their only son Toby in 2013. Kyla lost her two children in 2018, first in April and again in November.

“My heart was breaking as I was being brought to the delivery room. I was not going to have a baby. I was having a miscarriage again. I felt like I was given the most beautiful gift and then taken back from me so fast,” she said at the time.
It’s hard to keep my emotions intact. I cry at the stupidest things. … Grief is not a once and done process. You don’t cry for a week, or a month, or a year and then move on. It’s hard. You don’t get it out of your system. I will always wonder about the birthdays that we will never get to celebrate,” she continued. “I know everything happens for a reason. And through all the pain and trying experiences, I know something wonderful will happen.”
