Arjo Atayde just gave back to the Quezon City Government by donating service vehicles to multiple barangays in the city!
The QC Government shared the news on its Facebook page as it extended its heartfelt gratitude to the award-winning actor. The post that was published on Tuesday, June 29, included photos from the turnover ceremony.
“Maraming salamat kay Arjo Atayde sa kaniyang donasyon na service vehicles para sa mga barangay ng District 1 sa lungsod (Many thanks to Arjo Atayde for his donation of service vehicles to the barangays of the city’s District 1).”
The first batch of vehicles was distributed to barangays NS Amoranto, Manresa, Paang Bundok, St. Peter, Sto. Cristo, Maharlika, San Antonio, San Jose, and Vasra.
“Ang mga sasakyang ito ay magagamit ng ating mga barangay upang makapaghatid serbisyo at aksyon agad sa kanilang paglilingkod sa bayan (These vehicles will be utilized by our barangays to quickly and efficiently deliver service and action to our residents),” the local government unit added.
Reportedly, Arjo has plans to run for Congress in next year’s elections. This was revealed in an interview with actress Aiko Melendez who confirmed that she will also be running to represent Quezon City’s District 5.
