After celebrity stylist Liz Uy announced her engagement to her boyfriend Raymond Racaza last October, she just dropped another surprise: a second baby is on its way!

In an article she published on The Philippine Star on Sunday, December 20, she revealed that she discovered her pregnancy during the fourth month of the lockdown in the Philippines.
“I ran to Raymond (Racaza) and we were both screaming in delight. In the midst of a pandemic, we found this piece of good news filling up what was otherwise a glass half full of uncertainty in 2020,” she wrote.
But with this good news comes many hardships. Liz opened up about suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum which she describes as much worse than morning sickness. “I was throwing up countless times a day,” she shared, which she also went through during her first pregnancy.
Though it’s been tough for her, she just reminds herself of how she felt being able to hold her baby Xavi in her arms for the first time to gain strength to push through this pain.
“It made up for all that I had to go through to have him. Xavi is pure happiness and nothing, absolutely nothing, can equal what having him in my arms brought. My second pregnancy also serves as a reminder that the often said ‘This too shall pass’ adage is particularly true for women who go through a rollercoaster of highs and low just to survive their first trimester,” she said.
“This pregnancy has taught me to embrace and share my life’s simple joys as well as struggles. Having a baby is a journey that shook me to the core, but its rewards are immeasurable, overshadowing every discomfort and burying all the pain.”
Liz and Raymond have been together for a few years and share a three-year-old son who was born in September 2017.
