Youth-Led Global Network Hosts Webinar on Teaching Gender, Sex, and Consent in Philippine High Schools

Project Insight is a youth-led, global network, based in the Philippines, that aims to advance learning through online fora on various disciplines, which can be broadly categorized into four clusters: Science, Social Sciences, Business, and Humanities.

The organization will be hosting a webinar titled “Teaching Gender, Sex, and Consent in Philippine High Schools,” an open discussion on unlearning toxic
masculinity and sex education in high school, under the Social Sciences cluster. The event will be held this Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 5:30-7:00 PM via Zoom and Facebook Live.

The event will feature guest speakers including Amina Swanepoel, MIA, MPH, Founding Executive Director of Roots of Health, Angela Natividad, Features
Editor of WhenInManila.com, Danielle P. Ochoa, PhD, Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychology in UP Diliman, and Gian Lao, a poet, essayist, and journalist from ABS-CBN and CNN Philippines.
