After 21 long years bringing joy and laughter to audiences nationwide, this beloved host of GMA Network’s noontime variety show, Eat Bulaga!, is officially saying goodbye.

Anjo Yllana made a tearful farewell on his Facebook account where he announced his departure from the show. He did not specify the reason behind his decision but thanked all his colleagues and fans for the love and support through it all.
“With a heavy heart… today Aug.11 2020… I submit my resignation,” he wrote. “Thank you Dabarkads…thank you Eat Bulaga…21 years and it was a blast… Good Bye and all roads to your 50th.”

Eat Bulaga! recently celebrated its 41st anniversary last July 30.
