40 Caloocan jeepney drivers who’ve been unemployed for 5 months are asking for our help

The pandemic has left many without livelihoods or employment because of the complex circumstances we’re under. One of the most affected sectors are those who operate in public transport, especially jeepney drivers. Many of them have been unable to operate because of the quarantine, leaving them without earnings for almost 5 months.

40 jeepney drivers from Caloocan in particular are asking for help. Without any work for 5 months, many of them are behind on payments for water, electricity, etc. Because they were struggling financially, they reached out to Medyo Cute Stickers for help since the group has been sending their giving their sales to different beneficiaries, such as Lumad schools, other jeepney drivers, etc.
