After weeks of wondering if it was ever going to push through or not, Kris Aquino has officially confirmed her television comeback with its first teaser trailer!
The trailer showed Kris, looking as fabulous as ever, getting glammed up as she makes her long-awaited return in front of the cameras and under the spotlight.
“Maraming nagsabi (Many have said) that this day would never arrive. After hearing that too many times, even I started to believe it. Yet, nandito na ako (I am here now),” she said in the video.
“I got to know the real me. Hinarap ko ang aking pagkakamali. Tinanggap ko na maraming beses din ako nagkulang. Natutunan kong iwanan ang kahapon. Pinili kong patawarin ang sarili. (I faced my mistakes. I accepted that I’ve been lacking in many things. I learned to put my past behind. I chose to forgive myself.) For being human, for seeing myself as the victim, for allowing myself to almost give up. So I wiped away my tears. Kinaya kong maghintay. Nagpakatatag ako. Naghanda ako. (I did all I could to wait. I grounded myself. I prepared.) Because this isn’t the end of my story.”
Kris had been on a break for two years to focus on her family and her physical health. It was back in June when she surprised fans with photos of her contract signing with Cornerstone Entertainment marking many great things to come in the future of her career.
“Thanks to all of you, I’m starting my new beginning,” she added.

Her new show, “Love Life With Kris,” will air on TV5.
