If you’ve watched the second installment of The Kissing Booth, you probably noticed that it ended with a lot of questions unanswered. Why? Apparently, there will be The Kissing Booth 3 and it is expected to hit Netflix in 2021.
The cast announced the third installment in a super-cute video shared on the movie’s official Instagram account on Sunday, July 26.

The video showed Kissing Booth stars Joey King and Joel Courtney walking together as Joel is casually texting on his phone. In Elle-esque fashion, King exclaims: “What are you doing?! You can’t send that!”
Following that, several cast members appear— including newcomers Taylor Zakhar Perez and Maisie Richardson-Sellers — react to the news with plenty of excited emojis.
The highlight of the clip is when Jacob Elordi shows up at the end. He plopped down poolside across from King and Courtney, the actor smiles and asks: “What’d I miss?”
The short teaser ends with the words The Kissing Booth 3.
In addition to this, the cast also had a live stream on YouTube.
Although the stars of the movie are understandably excited for the next installment, they are also grateful for the fans and viewers— something that King made clear on Sunday’s live stream.
“I want to thank the fans for their tremendous support… the explosion of love has been so real,” she said. “It’s because of everyone on here that all of this has happened.”
