Celebrate World Industrial Design Day 2020 Online

The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s (DLS-CSB) Benildean Industrial Designers (BIND), a student organization recognized by the World Design Organization (WDO), will be hosting its
five-day annual celebration of World Industrial Design Day (WIDD) on 29 June to 3 July 2020, entitled “World Industrial Design Week 2020: Today and Beyond”. This is in line with the global
theme for WIDD which is “Design for Everyday Life” highlighting the value, ease, comfort, and efficiency of various products and services used on a daily basis.

The event will consist of talks about different design approaches from the following speakers: Plan Panida Tancharoen, Canva representatives, and Quotient Design Research founders.
Online workshops to discover, develop, and enhance design-related skills. Unravel x Ergocon 2020, a design competition in partnership with DLSU’s Industrial Management Engineering
Society and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of the Philippines will also be held.

Additionally, there will be an interactive exhibit that explores possible solutions for current and future social issues using sustainable materials, EMOD: A Circular Future, which are provided
by Industrial Design students and graduates.
