Ratings For ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’ Drop To An All-Time Low

Last May 8, The King: Eternal Monarch received its lowest ratings of the season. It had an average viewership rating of 7% and 8.1% for its two parts but sadly, its ratings have only sunk farther.

SBS’s drama obtained its lowest ratings to date just last night. The May 15 episode of the k-drama scored average nationwide ratings of 5.8% and 6.3% for its two parts.

The King: Eternal Monarch is a romantic fantasy starring Lee Min-ho, Kim Go-eun, and Woo Do-hwan. It follows Korean emperor Lee Gon as he gets transported to a parallel world after demons open a portal. He finds himself in democratic Korea, where he teams up with a detective to close the portal between the two worlds.
