One of our favorite scary movies is The Conjuring, which is based on a real-life haunted house in Rhode Island. This month, everyone can virtually visit the house through a week-long live stream by The Dark Zone.

From May 9 to 16, viewers can watch the Heinzens, the current owners of the house, as they “conduct paranormal investigations, seances, Ouija board sessions and invite some of the most well-known and respected luminaries in the paranormal community to pop in remotely and share their most bone-chilling experiences from the house.”

The Dark Zone promises that there will be multiple cameras set up around the home for a truly immersive experience.

Watch the creepy teaser below:

Like most things, this experience won’t be free. A 24 hour stream will cost you $4.99 (roughly P252), while the week-long stream will be $19.99 (roughly P1,011). It’s for a good cause, as a portion of the proceeds will go to COVID-related charities. If you just want a sneak peek or want a preview before shelling out money, a free live-preview will be held on May 8 at 8:00 PM EST. Discounted tickets are available starting today.

In 1970, the Perron family moved into the home and experienced paranormal activity. In 1973, they tapped famous paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren to study the house. Their experience is the basis of the 2013 film The Conjuring. In 1980, the Perrons moved out. The Heinzens still experience spooky stuff to this day, with Cory Heinzen telling a local radio station, “Footsteps, knocks, we’ve had lights flashing in rooms. And when I say lights flashing in rooms, it’s rooms that don’t have light in there to begin with.”

In a separate interview with the Sun Journal, Cory said, “I don’t have the feeling of anything evil, [but] it’s very busy. You can tell there’s a lot of things going on in the house.”
