As with other movie studios, Sony is moving its films’ schedules because of COVID-19. This means that the two upcoming Spider-Man movies – Spider-Man 3 and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 – will both be delayed, in turn also delaying Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thor and Doctor Strange sequels.
The movie following Spider-Man: Far From Home was originally scheduled for release on July 16, 2021. This has since been moved to November 5, 2021. Not a lot of details have been released about the upcoming movie yet.
The movie following Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was originally scheduled for release on April 8, 2022. This has since been moved to October 7, 2022.
