LOOK: Lions chill on the empty highway since people are on lockdown

Animals from the wild are taking over the empty highways.

In Africa, lions were photographed chilling on the empty road since people are sheltering at home due to the lockdown imposed that aims to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, people are urged to stay at home as much as possible to “flatten the curve.”

Park ranger Richard Sowry on Friday was out on patrol when he took photos of a pride sleeping on a road that would normally be busy with tourists.

Kruger National Park has been has been closed since March 25 as part of the COVID-19 lockdown.
