Pasig frontliners receive therapy sessions to improve mental, emotional health

With the stress of attending to COVID-19 cases and patients, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has provided Pasig City Hall frontliners psycho-social therapy.

These frontliners have tirelessly worked amid the pandemic, and it may take a toll on one’s mental health. In a social media post, the mayor said, “Our frontliners are physically mentally & emotionally drained. They serve w no complaints.”

He also commends the frontliners’ dedication, saying that he even tells some of them to take a rest. “But we can’t forget their well-being,” he adds. The mayor also thanked the Philippine Red Cross for providing these psycho-social therapy sessions for the frontliners.

This is only one of the many initiatives of Mayor Vico Sotto during the COVID-19 pandemic. He previously has launched a ‘mobile palengke‘ in Pasig and has also provided free shuttle rides for health workers and frontliners.
