The Chinese city’s donations consisted of 200,000 N95 masks, 100,000 surgical masks, and 2,000 infrared thermometers. Moreno ordered the immediate distribution of the donations upon reception.

“We will issue two thermal scanners per barangay, while the masks will be distributed to our healthcare workers and frontliners in hospitals and other public health facilities,” the Mayor said.

In turn, the Mayor asked for citizens to continue cooperating with community quarantine guidelines.

“We are working hard to meet the needs of more than 1.8 million Manilenos. I humbly appeal to all citizens to please stay at home and please stay safe. We’ll be there for you,” he said.
