Taylor Swift responds to followers after the “unedited” version of the infamous 2016 phone call leaked online. While the singer has liked posts on Tumblr regarding the phone call, this is the first time she is speaking out about the issue since the video circulated online.

In an Instagram story, she responds to followers saying, “Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years)… SWIPE UP to see what really matters.”

In her next story, she urges her fans to join her in donating during this crisis. The singer has also previously addressed the COVID-19 pandemic by telling fans to self-isolate and to not hold large gatherings.
