On Twitter, Locsin expressed his gratitude to the Singapore government for their donation though he did not specify when they will be arriving.

He added that he has yet to send a memo to President Duterte about it.

Earlier, China and South Korea have also donated test kits to the Philippines as the country faces an increasing number of confirmed COVID-19 cases day by day. As of writing, there are a total of 396 cases, with 33 deaths and 18 recoveries.

An enhanced community quarantine is placed over the entire Luzon until April 12, 2020 to curb the spread of this virus.
