Bianca Manalo Calls Out Grocery Hoarders for Leaving Less Fortunate with ‘Little Choices’

Actress Bianca Manalo couldn’t help but air out her opinions on fellow Filipinos who are choosing to hoard groceries amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

On an Instagram post, Bianca urged her friends and followers to reconsider excessively buying in bulk because it is insensitive to the less fortunate ones who will be left with fewer choices.

“PLEASE PLEASE do not hoard,” she wrote. “Pity our fellow Filipinos who live on their daily wages, who can only afford to buy what they need when they receive their daily or weekly salaries. When they go buy their needs, the shelves will be empty.”

She added: “I hate to say it but it’s the upper class that will cause the shortage, and could cause price increases. Pantries will be full in the exclusive villages, while the poorer man will have little choices.”
