Rachelle Ann Go is back on the stage, as she just joined the West End cast of the hit musical Les Miserables.

The actress announced the news on Instagram, saying, “I’m back @lesmizofficial ?? Last night was fun but nerve-wracking.”

She will take on the role of Fantine for eight weeks then again in July.

Go started her music career when she won in the TV competition Search for a Star. She has seven multi-platinum albums under her belt, but she became an international theater star in 2014 when she was cast as Gigi van Tranh in the West End revival of Miss Saigon. The following year, she was cast as Les Miserables‘ Fantine, a woman who turns to sex work so she could provide for her daughter Cosette. Go essayed the role when the musical was staged in Manila.
