Bea Alonzo has a lot to celebrate, especially in terms of her career.
Recently, the actress was dubbed by Variety as one of Asia’s up and coming stars this 2019. The list, co-presented by the International Film Festival & Awards Macao, named eight actors who “have the skills to become something much bigger in the entertainment industry.”
Variety is a publication that focuses on the entertainment industry.
According to the website, Bea is “a TV and film actress with a number of popular primetime soap operas and box office hits under her belt.” It went on to cite some of her biggest hits, including My First Romance, The Love Affair, and A Second Chance.
Bea joins other actors like Ryota Katayose from Japan, Praewa Suthamphong from Thailand, and Lim Yoon-A from South Korea.
This is not the first time that a Filipino has been included in the list. Piolo Pascual was included in 2017, while Anne Curtis was part of it last year.
