After confirming their engagement earlier this year, 29-year-old Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence just got married to art dealer Cooke Maroney. Cooke is the director of Gladstone 64 art gallery on New York’s Upper East Side and the two have been dating since the summer of 2018.
In the podcast ‘NAKED with Catt Sadler’, Jennifer admitted that before meeting Cooke, she hadn’t really planned on getting married. “I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other, we wanted to commit fully. He’s my best friend, so I want to legally bind him to me forever,” she said. “Fortunately, the paperwork exists for such a thing. It’s the greatest. You find your favorite person on the planet, you’re like: You can’t leave.” So sweet!
