Julia Barretto is once again clearing her name in the controversy surrounding Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson’s breakup when she was asked to comment on it in a recent interview with ABS-CBN.
“Hindi ko siya naging boyfriend and hindi ko siya boyfriend ngayon. Therefore, wala akong inagawan ng boyfriend, wala akong inahas at saka wala din akong nilandi. Hindi ako nililigawan. Naniniwala ako na may tamang panahon at oras para sa mga bagay na ganyan,” Julia told the reporter, adding at Gerald remains a good friend of hers.

Julia stressed that the three of them involved in the controversy are dealing with their own pain, especially after their families have been dragged into the issue. She also shared that the best the three of them can do right now is to just move on from what happened.
“I’m really in the process of moving forward, healing,” she said. “And hindi ito yung tamang panahon para magsisihan. This is not the right time anymore to point fingers. She’s hurting, he’s hurting, but so am I. I’m really in so much pain right now.”
“But kailangan magpakatatag eh. We have to get back on our feet, and move forward, and heal from this. Wala kaming choice. We just have to respect each other’s pain. Everyone is hurting. Hindi madali ‘yung pinagdadaanan naming tatlo,” she added.
