If you thought the Shinigamis have left our realm, then you better think twice. Death Note author and illustrator Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata have once again teased fans by revealing the storyboard of the Death Note one-shot.

While the rough draft of the storyboard was first revealed in Shueisha’s Jump Plus app, fans are quick to spread it on different social media platforms. To view the storyboard, click the link below.

Based on the Twitter thread linked above, it seems that Ryuk has found a new owner of the Death Note. Who could it be?
We have yet to know about the one-off’s final release date so keep your eyes open for more updates. While waiting, re-reading the manga is not a bad idea.
