Eugene Domingo is once again reprising her role as herself in hit comedy film series Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank for its third installment coming this July!
Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 3 will feature Eugene as Jose Rizal’s lover, Josephine Bracken, in a story that hopes to uncover Josephine’s real and untold narrative. She will star opposite Tony Labrusca, introduced in the teaser video as “hunk Jose Rizal.”

The Ang Babae sa Septic Tank series has consistently hit commercial success and quickly became a cult favorite among Filipinos. The first film released in July 2011, which starred Eugene alongside JM de Guzman, Kean Cipriano and Cai Cortez, tackled the way local filmmakers aimed for international recognition at the expense of their film’s quality. It went on to receive multiple awards, including Best Picture in the 7th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.
The second installment, Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 2: #ForeverIsNotEnough, poked fun at romantic comedy tropes of local films. It was released in December 2016 and starred Eugene, Kean, and Cai along with a new cast consisting of Joel Torre, Jericho Rosales, and Agot Isidro.
Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 3: The Real Untold Story of Josephine Bracken will be released exclusively on iWant on July 17.
