Former ‘PBB’ Housemate and Actor Bodie Cruz Is Now a Pastor

Former actor and Pinoy Big Brother alumnus, Bodie Cruz, has just been ordained as a pastor.

His father, the veteran actor Tirso Cruz III, shared the news to friends and followers on Instagram.

“Today is a very special day for us,” Tirso said. “As we Christians would say, ‘This is the day that the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it!’ Today Bodie will be ordained and officially become a [full-fledged] Pastor of Victory church.”

In the post, he also addressed his firstborn and Bodie’s brother, TJ Cruz, who passed away in November 2018 due to cancer. “We are all very excited for this event as I know you would have been too if you were here. I know how much you love [and] how proud you are of your brother,” he added. “Missing you a whole lot.”

Bodie also shared photos of his ordainment on his Instagram account.

“Promise fulfilled. Forever grateful to God for calling me to serve Him, for giving me a supportive family, and for sending mentors and friends who identified, confirmed and affirmed this calling and who are continually helping me grow in it. Bodie Cruz starred in Ang TV in 1992 and joined Pinoy Big Brother in 2007. He has starred in a number of films and television series including Zorro (2009), Eva Fonda (2008), Bride for Rent (2014), and Dyesebel (2014).
