Marie Kondo has sparked a revolution of decluttering and sparking joy from her Netflix hit, “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” where she declutters the homes of America one by one.
These homes have found lost breathing space and have embraced the art of decluttering their houses and lives for good.
Manila also has its share of clutter and trash. We’re not talking about our traffic and pollution situation coz that seems to be a lost cause. We’re talking about our homes, our personal spaces.
Accumulating things throughout the years result in major clutter and the biggest problem most homes face is where to bring their unwanted belongings.

Their first major garage sale is happening on June 16 and 23, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Quezon City. You have over 60 tables to choose from to sell your pre-loved items, from houseware, décor, clothes, accessories and anything else in between, as long as it’s second hand.
The beauty of this event is all of your unsold items may be left at the venue to be donated to the parish. Now isn’t that the best way to stay decluttered for good? You win back your personal space and you also spark joy not just to yourself, but also the less fortunate.
