Marvel provided a sneak peek of the newest Filipina superhero Wave in March. The comic book cover was created by artists Mico Suayan and Rain Bredo. Mico confirmed that his rendition was based on Filipina actress Nadine Lustre.
Last Thursday, local comic book shop Comic Odyssey shared the cover on its Facebook page. The post showed Wave carrying a weapon with the Philippine flag as background.

Wave will make her official debut in “War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas #1” in May. She will be joined by Chinese superheroes Aero and Sword Master.
