Alexandre Laverez who is known by his in-game-name (IGN) PBE|AK got the second spot in the Evolution Championship Series: Japan Tekken 7 tournament held in Fukuoka, Japan.
EVO: Japan is a worldwide fighting game tournament “which has shared the same visions and philosophy of original EVO,” according to its official website.
There 512 eSports athletes who participated in the said tournament.
The event was held on February 15 to 17 at the Fukuoka Convention Center.
Alexandre is deemed as the Philippines’ Tekken prodigy. In this event, he won 600,000 yen.
