Business Savvy Kids Learn and Earn at Kiddo-preneur

1 WhenInManila 02

While most kids were busy spending money over the holidays, a bunch of business-minded kids set out to do the exact opposite – to be the ones people were buying from, to make a cool profit!

It was a refreshing reversal of roles that sparked fun, imagination, and business savvy amongst the young participants.

Diligent kids ages 5-17 set up shop at the back-to-back weekend Kiddo-preneur events at Alabang Town Center and Uptown Mall BGC, to capitalize on the traditional spending bonanza over the holiday season.

This, as Kiddo-preneur, aims to promote entrepreneurship amongst the Filipino youth.

Family, friends, relatives, and mall goers showed their support and enthusiasm for the micro-enterprises and their little proprietors who had fun selling their products which included hamburgers, crafts, slime kits, customized wallets, notebooks, baked goods, cotton candy, etcetera.

As is tradition, awards were given out to the Kiddo-preneurs whose business ideas stood out the most.
