Ariana Grande Breaks YouTube Viewer Records with ‘Thank U, Next’

The hype for Ariana Grande’s music video for her single ‘Thank U, Next’ was very real. After all of the teasers on her Instagram account regarding the content of the video, she finally released her music video today – and we love every second of it.

Filled with unforgettable cameos and nostalgic scenes from some of our favorite chick flicks (‘Mean Girls’, ‘Legally Blonde’, ‘Bring It On’, and ’13 Going on 30′), it’s no wonder why Ariana broke YouTube records, becoming the biggest ever premiere on YouTube using its Premiere feature.

An incredible amount of 829,000 viewers tuned in all at the same time to watch her video with 516,000 chat messages – an all-time record for YouTube Premieres. In fact, according to tweets on YouTube’s Twitter account today, the video froze several times and the comments were even delayed from posting because of it.
