Zapateria is a co-creation hub for shoemakers, designers, and hobbyists. We intend to foster innovation and creativity in the shoe industry and help them connect to the market. Zapateria regularly offers workshops for hobbyists and shoe enthusiasts who would like to experience how it is to create a pair of shoes – from sneakers, loafers, oxfords, pumps, name it!
For creatives who would like to take their shoe designing experience to the next level ie. starting a shoe business, shoe label, Zapateria also offers prototyping and product development services on a monthly, weekly, and even hourly rate.
This November, Zapateria offers a series of workshops that includes the basics of how to start your own shoe business entitled “Shoepreneurship 101” (the workshop is in collaboration with Risque Designs) on November 17, 2018 (Saturday), and “Make Your Own Ladies Footwear” workshop, in collaboration with Roweliza Shoes and Bags Manufacturing, on November 24, 2018 (Saturday) where ladies get to design their own shoes and their choice of style (pumps, mule, sandals, stilettos, sneakers).
Zapateria will also offer other workshops in line with Marikina’s Sapatos Festival starting November 12, 2018 – January 12, 2019.
