American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey was all praises after watching cover after cover of her song Hero. American women’s magazine Glamour posted a video of the Songbird Supreme watching videos of various covers of her song. One of the videos she watched was created by Filipino duet Aldrich Talonding and James Bucong.

The two, who are cousins, are known for creating song covers and posting them on YouTube. One of their viral covers was Mariah’s song.

Mariah commented on their cover saying, “Aldrich and James, I loved the rendition. Amazing.”

Another viral cover from the two is the song Dance With My Father by Luther Vandross.

Their popularity online brought them to The Ellen Show. They followed in the footsteps of other Filipinos including Journey vocalist Arnel Pineda and singer Charice Pempengco, who we know now as Jake Cyrus.

Aren’t the two cool?

Oh, and by the way, Mariah Carey is set to have a concert in the Philippines on October 26, 2018, at the Araneta Coliseum.
