I think about why so many people are crazy for K-Dramas (I don’t watch them), and after seeing these illustrations by 29-year-old artist from Seoul, South Korea, it hit me: perhaps it’s because of the tenderness that is always present in Korean romantic series.
Is it the way of the Koreans or do they just get relationships better than the rest of the world? I don’t know the answer, but they must be on to something.
These illustrations by a Korean artist who goes by the name Zipcy recently trended online, and with good reason: they are simply gorgeous. In this ongoing series she is working on which she has entitles “Touch”, Zipcy perfectly captures the sweetness and intimacy that happens between two people who care for each other. And whether you are with someone right now or not, I swear, these illustrations will make you feel something, if not make you believe in a good kind of love.
