Harvard Offers a Free Online Digital Photography Class

Did you know that Harvard offers a free online digital photography course (and you don’t have to be a student there to take it)? That’s right. Harvard’s free online digital photography class has been available since 2013 through ALISON as part of its Open Learning Initiative. (Check it out here.)

The class takes up to 15 hours to complete and includes various modules. The modules include an introduction to digital photography, software, light, exposure, optics, histograms, software tools, digital cameras, color and artifacts followed by a digital photography end-of-course assessment.

If you pass, you can get an official ALISON diploma, certificate, or PDF, which you will have to pay for. Looks like something any photography aficionado should look into!
