4. Date a writer, because they will wear their heart on their sleeve. They will sing you lyrics written on paper napkins, recite messily scrawled odes to your laughter while catching the Monday bus. A writer will not leave you feel wanting, and any love announcement made on their behalf is not embarrassing or humiliating – expressing how they truly feel and drowning in their emotions is at the core of their being. 3. Fall in love with them for their naïvete. You will catch them at any mundane time of the day staring at you – and it can scare or intimidate you. But forgive them because they’re just memorizing every detail of you, how a dimple shows by the corner of your lips when you smile, or even how your dark eyes turn auburn under the light. They will think you are the most beautiful being they’ve ever seen (see number 3), and that nothing can get better than this.
2. They will look at the beautiful in you. They will paint portraits of you in their mind all day, daubing over the cracks until you are flawless – not because they want to erase your imperfections, but because every blemish is another thing to behold.
