Despite reaching a finals stint against the Tamaraws this season, it’s been reported that UST’s head coach Bong Dela Cruz has left the Yellow Tigers.

According to reports, Coach Bong’s Departure was unavoidable due to undisclosed circumstances. No news on this issue has yet been formally reported.
Reports also say that Former Ginebra player Bal David, and four other candidates, are in the running take up coach Bong’s post. While Coach Bong is still the coach until the end of his contract on April.
News of alleged “sellout” and “game-fixing” is the cause of coach Bong’s surprise dismissal and the Tigers’ disbandment have been circulating social media; however, this has yet to be confirmed.
