Harsh!

Fresh from his win at the recent Pacquiao vs. Mayweather mega fight last May 2, Floyd Mayweather told ESPN that he is no longer interested in a rematch with the People’s Champ, “because he is a loser and a coward”, according to a report by Spin.PH.

This was after just 2 days earlier, Mayweather expressed interest in fighting Pacquiao again, but apparently changed his mind in the middle of the furor surrounding Pacquiao’s shoulder injury before the match.

According to the report, Mayweather said in the interview that he thought that Pacquiao’s shoulder injury did not affect his performance during the fight, adding that both his left and right hands were fast, and “he was throwing them both fast and strong”.

“Excuses, excuses, excuses”, Mayweather later added.

Mayweather also expressed in the interview that he wasn’t “buying” into the injury and he “doesn’t want the public to buy into it, either”.

According to Mayweather, “He lost, he knows he lost. I lost a lot of respect for him after all of this. If you lost, accept the loss, and say, “Mayweather, you were the better fighter”.

What do you think of Mayweather calling Pacquiao a sore loser and a coward? Would you be interested in seeing a rematch between the two?
