For an extra fun and colorful Easter this year, how about seeing your very own painted giant Easter Eggs being displayed at Eastwood City this Easter for everyone to adore?

 

Inviting all artists to Join the On-the-Spot Giant Easter Egg Painting Competition on March 26, 10AM – 6PM! This event is open to all artists ages 18 – 30. The Theme: Favorite Fairy Tales (Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Hansel & Gretel, Mulan, Jack & the Beanstalk, Cinderella). Registration Period is from March 16 – 25, 2015!

 

Prizes:

First Prize: P40,000

2nd Prize: P30,000

3rd Prize: P20,000

Mechanics:

1. The contest is open to artists aged 18 – 30 of any nationality. Contestants can join as an individual or in teams with a maximum of five members.
2. Artists are invited to paint the giant easter eggs provided by Eastwood City (dimensions are 6ft. X 3.5ft) at the Eastwood Central Plaza on March 26, 2015, starting 10AM – 6PM. Contestants are asked to bring their own art materials and can use the following mediums: oil, acrylic, watercolor, spray paint, water-soluble paint, charcoal or ink.
3. In line with Eastwood City’s Easter celebration, the theme requirement shall be “Favorite Fairy Tales (Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Hansel & Gretel, Mulan, Jack & the Beanstalk, Cinderella)
4. Registration period is from March 16 – 25, 2015. A downloadable application form is available from the Eastwood City Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/EastwoodCity. Applications forms are also available at the Eastwood Mall Concierge, located at the Ground Floor of Eastwood Mall.
5. All participants must accomplish and submit the following documents:
6. Official Application Form with 2×2 Photo and artist statement.
7. Photocopy of proof of age of artist (Birth certificate, passport, or any valid government ID showing birthdate). If entering as a team, each team member must submit photocopy of proof of age.

9. Participation in the competition is free.
10. Accomplished application forms and requirements can be submitted online at the email address glenn.arvin.reyes@gmail.com or through the Eastwood Mall Concierge.
11. Upon submission of accomplished application form, Eastwood City will review to ensure requirements are complete and send an email within the day to confirm participation of the contestant or team. A total of 20 artists or teams will be accepted on a first-come, first serve basis.
12. On March 26, 2015, contestants should proceed to the Eastwood Central Plaza for the egg painting. Painting must be completed by 6PM of March 26, 2015.
13. Judging of all entries will be conducted on March 26, 6-7PM. Judges are a Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Marketing Representative, a local artist and a media partner. Criteria for judging is as follows:
14. Creativity (Style and Technique used in Painting) —————  30%
15. Visual Impact  —————  30%
16. Originality in presenting the theme “My Favorite Storybook”  —————  40%
17. Prizes are as follows:
18. First Prize: P40,000
19. 2nd Prize: P30,000
20. 3rd Prize: P20,000
21. The winner shall shoulder taxes of the prize (20% tax).
22. Winners will be announced on March 26, 7:30PM by the Eastwood Mall Marketing Team at Eastwood Central Plaza. Winner must be present during the Awarding Ceremony.
23. Winners shall allow themselves to be featured in any and all publicity materials connected to the promo.
24. All entries shall become the property of Megaworld Corporation. Entries shall be displayed around Eastwood City until Easter Sunday.
25. Employees of Megaworld Corporation, their affiliates, distributors, advertising and promotions agencies, and companies involved in the production of the program materials and the implementation of the competition, their agents, as well as their respective relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity and affinity are not eligible to participate in the competition.
