Daniel Padilla nominated in Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2

Daniel Padilla is already recognized as showbiz’s teen king, but could he also be Asia’s teen king? He could be, because he was recently nominated for Favorite Asian Act at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, an annual awards show where winners are selected by Nickelodeon viewers.

This year, Daniel is competing against Indonesia’s JKT48, Malaysia’s Jinny Boy, and Singapore’s Tosh Zhang.

Currently, Daniel is working on the TV remake of the soap opera Pangako Sa ‘Yo, and the film Crazy Beautiful You, which he will both be starring with his onscreen partner Kathryn Bernardo.

The winner of the title Favorite Asian Act will be determined by online voting on the Kids’ Choice Awards website. The deadline of voting will be on March 28. If he wins, he will be the next Filipino to win the award after Charice in 2012. In 2013, Sarah Geronimo was also nominated.

The 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards will be held in the Forum in Inglewood, California on March 28, and will be aired in Asia on March 30. The event will be hosted by Nick Jonas.
