Skyrojam First Indie Single, “Prinsipeng Torpe”

Skyrojam is an indie pop-rock band driven by a gifted belter of a singer/siren Tala Atienza and eclectic songwriter Paul Manalo. They formed the band over a year ago and after a myriad of band member changes, the two stayed strong and worked together on their  music.

To date, they have recorded two original songs (Prinsipeng Torpe and Mahal Kita), one cover song (Pusong Mamon), a jingle for the Station I.D. of a local tv network, and the official jingle for TV5’s latest lifestyle show “Philip, Lifestyle Guy”.

Skyrojam‘s music could be described as old school ballad with a twist of modern culture. Their lyrics are heartfelt, unpretentious, and goes straight to the core of human emotion. One surprising thing about the band (and you first read it here) is that they have never performed live on any stage as a group since the day it was formed (but can’t wait to make a decent first ever gig soon! ).

Skyrojam doesn’t just aim to entertain,  more importantly, we want to inspire. We want to inspire people to never surrender whatever they are aspiring for in life because more than the band, more than the music, Skyrojam is about never giving up.
