Keiza Empleo witnessed a security guard going the extra mile to ensure the safety of a pedestrian crosser – a dog!

“Marga is the campus dog of the University of the Philippines Cebu. She’s more fond of the security staff – she even goes along with them during rounds and always stays near the guard house. She’s endeared herself to students as well. I’ve recorded several videos of her before but this is the first time I posted on social media. Di yan marunong tumawid, kaya yun tinulungan ng guard. Not the first time we saw her cross the road either, pero it just hit me on the spot na I should just record this.
One thing I’ve also noticed is that she always takes note of where the pedestrian lane is, too.”
Empleo tells us that Marga basically lives “in the school” where “everyone takes care of her”.
“Sometimes she tries to do it on her own but security always manages to help her. She’s always over the place. Likes to be fed but is more attached to the security staff.”
